Ambassador Program Launch & two new Life Members

Hon Roger Cook MLA, Deputy Premier & Minister for Tourism, officially launched the Rottnest Foundation Ambassador Program with Jeff King OAM to be the very first Ambassador.

After 14 years of service as the Chairman for the Foundation, we are so excited for Jeff to transition into this new role. As an Ambassador, Jeff will help promote the Foundation through the wider community and assist in securing external funding and support for Foundation projects.

Foundation Patron, Janet Holmes à Court AC recognised the outstanding contributions of our very hard working Pauline McMullan and Jeff King, awarding them with Life Memberships.

Pauline has worked tirelessly for 15 years for the Rottnest Foundation, between 2007 - 2022, 13 years of which in a voluntary capacity. Considered ‘the rock’ of our organisation, Pauline always went the extra mile, always available, always with a smile, she was totally dedicated to conservation of Wadjemup.

Jeff has given unstinting service over the last 14 years between 2009 - 2022 as Chairman of the Foundation. Always passionate about promoting the value of partnering with the Foundation, professional and approachable, Jeffs love of Wadjemup is unwavering.
