Sue Stepatschuk brings new skills

We are thrilled to welcome Sue Stepatschuk as a new Rottnest Foundation Board Member.

Sue is a Corporate Director and Adviser with extensive experience in the Not-for-Profit and Philanthropic sectors. Currently, Sue is responsible for Partnership Development within the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) for Kings Park and Botanic Gardens.

She has a strong connection to Rottnest Island through volunteering and visiting. Her previous roles in Destination Marketing and Corporate Tourism mean Sue also understands the challenges the island faces as a key tourism destination in Western Australia and the valuable role the Rottnest Foundation plays in its conservation.

Having worked recently for the Minderoo Foundation and the Fremantle Foundation, Sue is able to provide valuable insights into current philanthropic trends and fundraising strategies.

Holding several volunteer and Board positions, Sue is passionate about contributing to society and dedicated to improving community outcomes and impacts.

Sue's experience and knowledge, particularly in the partnerships and fundraising space will be a great asset to the Rottnest Foundation Board as we continue to develop strategies to fund our 5 Priority Projects and work to 'Conserve the essence of Wadjemup'.
